A good friend and member of The Dynamic Foundation, Mr. Yu Xie, courtesy name Fang Bai, will soon be reaching the milestone age of 100 years. Mr. Yu settled in the United States after his retirement and developed a passion for painting and calligraphy, and to celebrate this milestone birthday, TDF will be hosting an exhibition with more than ninety pieces of his work in magnificent display.
Mr. Yu produces a very distinct, unique style of calligraphy. His paintings include subjects like landscapes, flowers, and people in various styles such as freehand watercolor, sketches, traditional Chinese art, etc. His works are a feast for the eyes and are incredibly beautiful. TDF is very fortunate and honored to have the opportunity to display Mr. Yu’s work. The opening ceremony for “Mr. Yu Fang Bai’s Centenarian Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition” will be held on September 5, 2014 (Friday) from 2:00pm-3:30pm on the first floor event hall of our building. We will also be providing refreshments, so please come by and join the festivities!
