December 2013 Update

Grades: K-6 (21 classes total)

This school is of above average quality.

Students

No. of Students: 1,530 (no boarding)

Parents are supportive of their children’s education. The student population is stable. 100% of students graduate onto junior high in Dongguan.

Teachers

No. of Teachers: 63

Music, PE, and art classes are taught, but the teachers aren’t specialized. English classes begin in the third grade.

Problems/Issues

The student population is very large, and there aren’t enough computers to meet with demand. The athletic field needs to be redone. The campus grounds have not been fully concreted or landscaped. Classroom desks and chairs are old. The teachers’ dormitory needs repairs.
