Student performance is above average in Wuning County. There are many “left-behind children” which puts a lot of responsibility on teachers. 90% of students go on to high school, while the remaining 10% go on to vocational high school.

Teachers are very responsible, and are considered some fo the better teachers in Wuning County. There are specialized teachers for music, PE, and art classes. English classes begin in the third grade.
